The focus of Compass Creative Dramatics is offering week-long theatre residencies to school, parent, and community organizations. We provide everything you need for your students to learn, play, and perform -- you just provide the kids and the venue.
We provide a unique educational experience for your students by bringing a professional theatre performance opportunity directly to your school or organization. The students are given an opportunity to work alongside two professional actors in a full onstage production, engaging them in the process and providing an opportunity for intelligent dialogue and additional resources. We believe that students excel when learning by example, and thus being onstage with two professional actors allows the students to learn how to LEAD by example. This program is designed to purposefully and intrinsically instill skills of character such as trustworthiness, respect, and responsibility while your students stretch their muscles of creativity and bravery through the art of theatre.
