Enrichment Workshops |
Our workshops are generally designed to be approximately 45 - 50 minutes in length, and are intended to give students an intro to a variety of theatrical topics and expose them to specialty performance and design fields within theatre. Compass Creative Dramatics offers workshops in over 15 different topics such as clowning, stage combat, and improv for ages ranging from 3 years old - adult students.

Workshops with Week-Long Residencies:Workshops may be scheduled in tandem with Week-Long Residencies to offer a more in depth and broader residency experience.They provide students with a greater level of enrichment and exposure to theatre.During residencies, sponsors may opt to add on any number of workshops to be scheduled anytime outside the scheduled three hour rehearsals. This is often a great way to get more students involved who are unable due to other
commitments, lack of desire or ability to do a full week, or who are two young involved in a residency. This also gives the students who are already involved in the production an opportunity to explore other specific theatre topics during the week. |
Workshops as Stand-Alone Programming:For these organizations who may be looking for just a few
hours or a couple of days of programming enrichment workshop are a great way to go! Sometimes organizations may not be able to host a full week of camps due to budget, space, or scheduling restrictions. Sometimes organizations already have other theatrical programming in place and see an opportunity to use Compass Creative Dramatics offers workshops as a way to enhance their current offerings. |
