Our newest programming initiative allows us to continue bringing theatre to the places where kids already learn and play - and for now, that's mostly at home!
Compass@Home offers three great levels to choose from to engage and interact with us.
1. Compass Corner keeps it simple!
Compass Corner offers FREE, short and sweet, no-registration-needed opportunities for families and students to engage with us on social media through our Social Media Live events.
Our first two will be happening Friday 3.27.2020 at 10am CT and 4:30pm CT on our Facebook page.
Additional dates and times coming soon!
While we are offering these as free engagements, we do encourage you to consider a pay-what-you-can donation to show your support and appreciation, if you're able. We know these are uncertain times for many families though - and are happy to have you join us no matter what for our Compass Corner sessions on our social media!
2. Compass Connections offers a little more!
Low commitment, affordable, drop-in classes. These will be a great way to get interactive with our teaching artists for longer, more engaging sessions that will be taking place online through our Zoom platform.
First schedule set:
Accelerating Imaginations
Tuesdays/Thursdays March 31st - April 9th
Take a high-speed trip through the world of acting. This interactive activity includes theatre games to get kids' bodies revved up and creative wheels turning!
3:30pm - 4:00pm CT (K - 2nd grade)
4:30pm - 5:00pm CT (3rd - 5th grade)
$15/session per family or $95 for all eight sessions.
Creative Play
Tuesdays/Thursdays March 31st - April 23rd
Our tiniest performers stretch their creativity and bravery muscles through theatrical storytelling while exploring physical and emotional self-expression through dramatic play.
10am - 10:25am CT Creative Play: (2 years old - 4K)
$15/session per family or $95 for all eight sessions.

3. Online Camps and Classes Series delivers robust engagement!
Save the date because the weeks of:
Session 1: April 13 - 17th (3rd - 8th grade)
and
Session 2: April 20 - 24th (3rd - 8th grade)
Compass will be offering our first week-long online theatre camp.
Students join a unique opportunity to engage with young artists across the country as our professional teaching artists guide their virtual collaboration and creativity and prepare them for their end-of-week showcase!
Rockstars and Glam: Acting & Adaptation through Scenes & Songs
Come join the fun as we explore our newest adaptation, Goldirox and the Musical Chairs. We’re really excited about our new script – but we need some help from you. Our script is still under construction and we want you to help us make it the best it can be by being among the first artists to try out our new scenes, songs, and dances and learn how to create your own! Explore being a playwright, director, choreographer, designer, and more! Anyone grades 3rd-8th may participate - no experience required.
$129/student per week (As always, scholarships and sibling discounts available)
